Default ACE R/C SeaDancer

Just bought this kit here on RCU and I need advice on engine. I have a YS 63 and a YS 91AC. Which engine would you recommend?
Also would appreciate any tips or advice on construction.
Thanks.
Ray

Hey rayb,
we discussed this bird here very recently, just do a search for "Sea Dancer".
I would go with the YS91....ya' know what they say--"There's no such thing as TOO MUCH horsepower"!

I got a kit not too long ago myself, looking forward to building and flying it.
Best to ya'!

I fly at 3000 ft above sea level and it gets off the water in pretty short order with a plain bearing K&B .60. I think either of those two engines would be plenty. This is a great flying airplane.
