balsausa floats to short for H9 Super Cub?
I am putting together a H9 Super Cub on floats. Since the seacommander.com float production is temporarily disabled, I am thinking about using the Balsausa.com 1/4 scale EDO floats instead. They are a bit small, however, at 44.25 inches long, a bit short of the recommended length of 46 inches for this plane (which is 65 inches long). I was wondering if that would pose any problems.

They should be okay - cuz I am using that very combination!
They are made for the 1/4 BUSA cub which is 3" longer than the H9 Super cub. I have seen heavily scaled out 1/4 scale cubs fly very well off these floats, so that is good enough for me... In the event I guessed wrong, we wont know for 5 months or so.. (not built yet.)
With Sea Commander out of the picture for a while, there is not a lot of choices for scale floats.... good luck!!

Ok I'm stuck I have a couple of sets of old stream floats 42" long(ABS) and a set of 54" long F glass also going to use the G26 in mine.Any help here
