RE: Aerophibian float plane on sale for $119.99
Got mine intially when they had a sale for $99.Flying it with a Mag 52 4 stroke works real nice only flown on land but have the floats on it now looks like should do well is nice on wheels very capable little plane, all simple stunts etc Added a cover on front wheel to match theother 2.Only complaint is that have to take the cowl off which necessitates prop and needle valve and about 6 screws to remove the nose wheel to convert it to water but no big deal just takes a little longer.I ran rod directly from permanentlymounted servo in belly to the rudder then in switching back will just remove the rod.I don't care for the different linkage deals have used this makes a direct connect.Good luck!

RE: Aerophibian float plane on sale for $119.99
I have had an a
Aerophibian for several months. I first put the wheels on and flew off of the club field. I have an OS46FX in it and it is very fast. It is a bit tippy on landing as the main gear wheels are fairly close together. For using it a lot on land I would get a wider "wheelbase". On water, the OS46FX is just perfect. It gets off quickly and flies easily. This plane is a winner. The floats are real light but strong. I used the servo arrangement they suggested but one of my friends has one and he is going to tie the float rudder cables into the nose gear steering arm. There are many ways to do it but their suggested way works well too.

RE: Aerophibian float plane on sale for $119.99
Have flown mine on land with a Magnum 52 4 stroke and flew OK.Just tried it on floats and dumped it couple times, was windy but couldn't seem to get it flying seemed to tip stall onto left wing every time drop wing and catch water.Although the 52 runs nice seems to be a very low powered engine.See that was good with a 46FX but lot of difference in those two engines!!Looks like a Saito 72 would interchange with little effort maybe this wasn't enough power to get off water.Anybody try it with the 52?That is the engine they show for it but that doesn't neccesarily meen it will fly it!

Will see just installed the Saito 72 in it,Only little difference in mount holes and throttle location. Now have to get out on the lake with it.
