I would like some opinions on float size. Do you think these are big enough?

I would make them as long as the width of the swimming pool.

1)-It'll never get off the water, you don't have enough positive incidence in the wing.

2)-What will that Cub be when it grows up? It sure has big paws.

I think your floats must be leaking as it appears they have swollen a bit .

Here is the owner of the floats (first picture). Reunited as of this morning. Flew very Cub like with a Saito 1.20 at about 17 lbs. Will do a loop only after a spirited dive.
We managed to accumulate these seven aircraft at our weekly floatfly this morning. Usually it lasts about two hours. We must have been having fun because it went to four hours.
Ah, the site of a glass smooth landing. This is so much fun I think it may be illegal!
