Default Scorpio ThreeDee 400 on Floats!

This is an electric Scorpio ThreeDee 400 ARF from Hobby-Lobby that I converted to nitro (OS 10, but needs a 15) and then added Kavan Wingo foam floats to (also Hobby-Lobby). I just recovered the fuse and built a new tail assembly (original covering coming off and the original stabilizer was kind of flimsy). Flies wonderfully and takes off in 20 feet or so. Will be adding OS 15 to it this winter for more power. Email for more details if interested: [email protected]

Default RE: Scorpio ThreeDee 400 on Floats!

I'm thinking about buying one. How did it perform as it came from the manufacturer? Why did you change to nitro? Can it fly with the floats on using a larger electric motor?

Thanks.
