Hi,
I understand floats are supposed to be about 75% of the plane length.
The floats I have for my Eagle II are around 85%.
What kind of problems will this cause?
Am I better off shorter or longer than 75%?
Thanks,

It's more important where the step is located (at or 0.5" behind the CG) than the overall length. Also, make sure that when you put the floats on the CG is the same as when the plane is on wheels. To do this add any necessary weight to the floats, not to the plane, or you are sure to forget to check the CG when you change over from one configuration to the other.
