Thats a pretty incredible model. But aren't there going to be interference issues if even one of those riveted sheets starts rattling against the formers or even each other? Are there aluminum bonding glues/epoxies that will forever prevent this possibility?

It is indeed something different and appealing because of the totally different and more-close-to-reality building material and method but I don't know if such a product may have any market at all...
The price won't help even if I'm not saying that it is not the -right- price for all the work and craftsmanship involved.
Moreover, the panels warp here and there and the final surface doesn't seem to be the best for detailing... the rivets are already out of scale by themselves.
I tip my hat to the braveness of such a market choice anyway.

Hi-
Agreed - this is a refreshing and nice scale approach. But - the model is heavy and the wing loading is very high. And a vital question for a seaplane of this construction - is it really watertight?

You know, dispite the drawbacks, I want one. I can't afford one, nor can I afford the engines, super-duper radio gear, the works. But still, I hope this guy sells 20 or 30 of 'em and makes his cash back on the time investment to say 'yeah, I will sell this to you, as a service'.
This is the kind of thing that inspires me to go down the community college and take a sheet metal class. Then again, I probably can't afford that either, heh...all in due time I guess.
