I find one drop of blue thread locker on the end of the screw is sufficient, anymore than that, the screw pushing it out of the hole and is wasted

The c rating is the discharge rate, so for example some lipo batteries say 25c 30c or 45c.. The higher the number the better the power transfer and flow is from the cells to whatever it is powering....

I wasn't keen on recommending a lipo to someone who sounds like a beginner. lipos can be dangerous in the wrong hands as you know and the esc may not be compatible?

yep I would say that was the same as yours... well I would imagine with its age, it might not be made anymore.. so I would say it was rare.. but someone else who knows more about them might say...

The guy selling his TQ10 on ebay just got back to me and he seems to run a 7.2v 6 cell NiCad in his car.. so any of the standard 6 cell 7.2v ones would do for what I see

the car wont get wrecked by disabling the low voltage cut off.. the battery will as the cut off prevents to much discharge of the cells of the battery
