RE: How many mistakes do you make building kits??

Mistakes? I don't remember making any mistakes, only modifications to poorly designed models.

RE: Laser cutter?

I hand built a "Joes 2006" that cuts using a router head. Overall cost to this point is about $2k. Getting the machine together was the easy part, figuring out the software has been the hard part. ...

RE: H9 Ultra Stick 60: flying characteristics

All I know is if the weather is questionable, high winds, gusty... the Ultra Stick is the plane to have. My favorite is to land backwards!! If the wind is blowing nicely down the runway turn on...

RE: Best 3D airplane for 2200 mha 3S

I can personally vouch for the E-Flite Extra 260 3-D... I had one, love it. The plane was an eggshell though, tore the landing gear off more times than I can count. Bent the landing gear several...

RE: *Seagull Extra 260 90 ARF*

The 90 might be enough to fly the plane. Probably will not be the best for aerobatics, but for a sunday flyer it should be adequate.

Ok, here goes... Not trying to start a fight of anything, just stating some facts.

RE: *Seagull Extra 260 90 ARF*

Planning on putting a Brillelli 26 on mine. Waiting on the motor to arrive and my ankle to heal up. Tried to show my boys that skateboarding is fun. :) Broke it good, 8 pins and a plate. Still...

RE: What are you using for canopy glue?

I use the "Super Tacky" glue from the local arts and crafts shop. Nice and thick so it stays put when you put it on it doesn't run all over the place. Have used the stuff on several planes with...

RE: Help with Bi plane, ailerons not working right

In looking what is happening it almost seems that maybe the linkage is slipping? How is the servo connected to the control rods? I have had issues with the control rod connectors that have a set...

RE: Custom foam planes

Try www.3dfoamy.com if you are looking to make something for personal use. If you poke around a bit there are quite a few places that have plans for foamy airplanes. Good luck.

RE: Scott from Brillelli ?????

As for me now I can wait as it will be sometime before I get a real plane up in the air again. :( Apparently I am no longer as nimble as I once was and manged to break my ankle in two places while...

RE: Things you say after crashing

While walking out to the crash site...

Maybe you could crash it closer next time?

Took a minute to hear the "thump" of it hitting the ground...

That doesn't look good!

RE: What do you think about Tower Uproar 40 Kit?

I built mine in about a week, turned out great. Doesn't like the wind so much, little twitchy. Running a os 40 la, plenty of power. I start it rolling down the runway, jam the throttle forward and...
