RE: Strange Question about thrust

Actually 9.81N is the force a mass of 1Kg exerts on earth. Force is a vector it has magnitude and direction, mass on the other hand is a scalar and only has magnitude. They are not actually...

RE: Strange Question about thrust

Force is newtons mass is Kg's. Torque is N.m, Force x distance. Power is Torque x rpm x Pi /60 or work done / time.

RE: Synthetic Oils

Some of the turbine oils contain organophosphates to help them cope with the different operating conditions they experience. I don't think it is a myth.

RE: Why Methanol?

Hexane is an excellent degreaser better than methanol so you would need more oil, also running hexane will make the needle very sensitive because the mixture will be more lean than with methanol....

RE: The ABC myth?

Not all "Tapered Bore" engines are created equal, some will not have a problem running excessivly rich and some will. It depends on clearances, materials, design, fuel etc. To generalise and say...

RE: Opinions needed-3" spinner on TT .25?

RE: 160 twin; 12mm Reamer or ?

Never had a prop come loose on mine, its not the best but I drill my props out haven't had any problems yet. The lock nut has a m4 hole tapped in it which is nice for ally spinners.

homesickangel:
1 liter "degummed" castor from Clowns(in Montague gardens) R18 about $3. I don't think you would need more nitro if you change to the "Pink stuff"
