Blade CP Pro suddenly needs lots of aileron trim

On a recent flight of my Blade CP Pro, I noticed that it wanted to roll to the right a lot. It took a lot of left aileron trim to get it stable, almost all the left trim I had available. It also had...

RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO

From what I've experienced with mine and from what I've read in the forums, the most likely causes of poor yaw control would be a bad tail motor or the proportional and gain adjustments on the...

RE: Seagull Yak?

I didn't say I doubted you, just hoping you were wrong.;)

Thanks for the details even though they're not what I wanted to hear.[:@] I understand wing loading.

I won't be putting any...

RE: Seagull Yak?

I can't wait to hear how some of these gas engines work out on this plane. I understand what you're saying about the weight, just hoping you're wrong about that. I really want a gas-powered plane...

RE: Hangar-9 Sopwith Camel Build Thread

That's very cool. Those two planes you mentioned are the only other ones I've found and I've been seriously considering them as well, but I think they are a little bigger and pricier than the...

RE: Hangar-9 Sopwith Camel Build Thread

I agree! Thanks very much for doing this, MinnFlyer. The reason I'm here is because I want a biplane, but I want a gas engine in it for the sound and hopefully less mess than glow. Nothing against...

RE: Extreme Flight 300 electric

ORIGINAL: Michaelvg11

...Does anyone have any pictures of how you place the antenna in the plane. Where did you run it through.
Thanks
Michael

RE: Extreme Flight 300 electric

The only CF rod that came with mine was the elevator joiner rod. It also came with a piece of flat CF to attach across the bottom lead edge of the elevators and joiner (as shown in the pic of my...

RE: Extreme Flight 300 electric

I didn't care for the Blenderm substitute I found at Eckerds. I tried it before I put the packing tape on. It didn't stay on very well and it seemed to shrink and pulled tight across the gap,...

RE: Extreme Flight 300 electric

I used packing tape on mine before I found the Dubro Blenderm. I figured I'd put the Dubro on when the packing tape came off, but it hasn't yet. BTW, I put it on both top and bottom. Don't know if...

RE: Hangar-9 Sopwith Camel Build Thread

Thanks. That is really cool. Guns blazing would be awesome. And topping it off with muzzle flashes would be next, I suppose.:D

RE: Hangar-9 Sopwith Camel Build Thread

I'm interested in putting a gas engine in this plane, but I'd also be very interested in more info on your sound system. Thanks.

RE: Mini Ultra Stick

Unfortunately, I've since split my ailerons into separate flaps so I can't check how much my flaperon deflection was. I don't remember for sure but I don't think it was a whole lot. It doesn't take...

RE: Mini Ultra Stick

I've used flaperons on Hitec 5 & 6 channel transmitters, and the Futaba 9C. I'm not familiar with Futaba 6 channel radios, but if it's a computer one, I would think there's a way to do it. Good...

RE: Mini Ultra Stick

Do you have flaperons set up? They help a lot for short field landings. Crow slows it down real good too if you go that route.

RE: Mini Ultra Stick

My nylon LG bolts are Sig brand 4-40 x 1/2". Found them at the LHS. I gave them a real good test today after many flights with no problems. I glanced away from my plane for an instant to see where...

Looks nice. Is it a little nose-heavy with that motor?

RE: Extreme Flight 300 electric

Outrunners are supposed to have a lot of torque, but I think I've read that the KM has a lot even with geared setups. I guess it depends on the power system and the plane as to how much you'll...

RE: Navy Stearman ARF gasser?

Thanks for your help, Cliff.

It looks like the Super Stearman cowl is 1.6" longer, 1.3" wider and .4" taller than the Military version according to Tower's specs anyway. So, it looks like...

RE: Extreme Flight 300 electric

If I took my spinner off, I'd probably want to move my pack a little forward, but I doubt if it would be very much. But that would be ok since I have a lot more room to move it forward than...

RE: Extreme Flight 300 electric

Take a real good look for that flat piece of CF. I didn't think I got one at first, if I recall correctly, but then I found it taped in the box somewhere.

Navy Stearman ARF gasser?

Doesn't anybody make a 60 size Navy Stearman N2S ARF? The closest thing I can find is the Great Planes Military Stearman but it is the wrong colors. I want to power it with a small gas engine, 20cc...

RE: Extreme Flight 300 electric
