Triton Charge Threshold Settings

Hey guys,

Quick question about my new Triton charger. Does anyone know if you can set up different peak detection sensitivity settings for each of the batts I've added to my memory? For...

After about a 2 full tanks of hovering on a 50, i went 60

Actually, I don't fly the "extreme" heli's. (Wish I did though....LOL) My hanger currently includes a Raptor 30V2 and a 50V2. Like I mentioned in a previous post, I'm a newb that only has about 20...

creamxxpuff- Ok, I was incorrect in the $400 crash estimate. (Thinking more along the lines of a MA Fury or Vigor.) The Raptor 60 is a nice heli and will last you for a looooong time after you have...

Did I just read that you are just learning how to hover and you are now going to jump to a 90 sized machine? Why bother?? There are TONS of things you can learn on a 30 or 50 (even 60) size machine...

Newbie decision

Go for the 50V2 with the TT50. Crash costs are not much more expensive than a 30, initial costs are not much more than a 30, the heli will be more stable with the larger blades and you won't feel...

Lets see ur raptors

Flybybooth - I'm not an expert on this stuff by an means, in fact I'm a beginner, but one thing I've both seen and heard from other pilots is the fact that heli's can be hard to orientate in the air...

How to transition / switch to choppers

AirBlender- I think it's worth the money to get a sim no matter what you do. Hovering tail in is relatively easy to pick up at the field once you get over the pucker factor of those blades moving so...

How to transition / switch to choppers

If I could make a suggestion.....try flying on a simulator before you spend any money on purchasing a heli or other related support gear. The sim will give you a good indication of what it's like to...

Crash Prevention for a few cents

The point is that you don't have anything dislodging from the chopper and flying up into the blades if something becomes loose during flight.

Crash Prevention for a few cents

I wouldn't care in the slightest if somebody laughed at me for having zip ties on my Fury. Considering the cost of those birds I'd do ANYTHING I could to keep it in one piece.

30 vs 50 for beginner ?

If I were to make my initial purchase again, I would go with a Raptor 50V2 instead of my 30V2. Seems like the only downside to the 50 is the fuel consumption and it might be a LITTLE too powerful...

TT39 - Oh yeah Baby!!!

Actually, I have no plans to convert the 30 machine to the 50. By the time I'm ready for the 50 I'd like a whole new kit so that I always have two choppers ready to go. Now if I REALLY like the 50...

TT39 - Oh yeah Baby!!!

I'm a complete heli newbie and have a Raptor 30 V2 that will be out for it's first filights in the spring, but if I were to do it again I'd go for a .50 size heli in a heartbeat. Not much more than...

Wanting to Learn Heli

I would agree with what flyboy said. I just came into the hobby about a month ago after flying planes this summer and racing RC cars for years before that. Decided to go with a Raptor V2 for the...

can I fly now?

Roger- If I can make a suggestion, try to get together with one of the other heli pilots at your field if you decide to purchase a heli. Flying the sim is only one part of the equation when comes to...

In my opinion G2 is worth it's weight in gold. I purchased a Raptor V2 about a month ago that I will be flying next spring and it it's ANYTHING like what I've been flying on G2 I'll have a good head...
