does anyone know how much less efficient a flat(foamy type)air foil is, as opposed to a standard symetrical foil.???Has anyone tried one on a large gas plane???

you had might think about a triplane shocky.......that way you stay somewhat symetrical....and it would be a quick and easy mod....just a few wing struts a couple of wings.....sew it up....and hook...

I have the same motor and I put it on a few planes....buti i finally just made a foamie for it and all I have to say is ROCKET..........28 oz and super menuverable....something to think about

I played around with a few of them but the 10 3.8 apc seemed to have the most raw thrust in a hover....

there are a few other things that bipes have on monos....first they are less effected by the wind in a hover because one wing blocks the other from it....less span and generally smaller in comparison...
