Looking for video of Bill Hempel landing safely with 1 wing.

Just like the title says. I heard at the field today of a 40% that lost a wing panel in flight, and the pilot rolled it knife edge and brought it in. I have searched and found nothing. Now when I...

RE: CHARGING LARGE PACKS AT LESS THEN 10%

Odd. I guess Futaba and everyone else screwed up when they gave out 50mah chargers for their 600mah packs.

Come on now.

I use that 140% charge time figure too and it works great.

Duralites. Need info.

What exactly are Duralites and why is (or was) everyone using them in their planes? What kind of cells are they and what kind of charger do you need to charge them?

RE: So, What engine is voted best Funtana 90?

They also state how important it is to seal the hinge gaps. It's all good though. Sounds like you caught it before you lost your plane.

RE: U-can-do servo question.

Sounds fine to me. I wouldn't go and buy them though. If your gunna buy servos might as well go with something stronger for the money. I have the UCD 60 and I'm putting 3001's in mine cause I...

RE: Throttle Servo for GAS engines

What is the deal with servos going dead on the throttle? Is it just the vibration of the gas engine? I'm a little new to the large scale gas scene.

RE: How to RAIN PROOF a transmitter unit!

I need onme of those. I always fly in the rain. I don't got to the field...

RE: High-torque servo

High Torque would be good on the rudder if you plan on doing aerobatics or 3D. I think a 9202 would be fine but something a little stronger woujldnt hurt. I'm just not real familiar with the plane....
