Ryan,
I do have some pictures and info on the L1. My grandfather who just turned 92 last month flew the L1 in the China Burma India theater.
He has so many stories of that plane, he really loved...

Thanks for the help.I decided to go with a 1inch space on the tail feathers.The glue on the t-pin trick works really well.

Iam will start on it tomorrow night.I went with the stits covering,and will do the glue with the t-pin trick like they showed in the video.

Right now Iam ready to simulate the stiching on the tail feathers.Two inches seem to be pretty far apart for them I may just make my own spacing up.I wont be entering it into any...

Well I can't tell you what kit it is.But I can tell you its not a BUSA or Sig.Ive owned two of the busa's and one sig and they did not look like that.I hope someone can ID it for you.

Thanks for the info on the K&S tubing I kinda had a feeling they were not strong enough.They will be functional struts.Proctor has some real nice hardware.Maybe I will just replace my broken ones...

I just didn't get that stable feeling when I tried it.I dont know if it was the drag brakes or the way the ailerons were hooked up.Just didn't like the way it felt.

I flew mine with a saito 100,flys perfect very scale like.Also blends right in with the dummy engine.

Just flew mine last nite and it flew awesome.Nice and slow and real strait and smooth.Would recomend to anyone flying indoors.My setup was as follows.If your into 3d I would not recomend it.

I just cut my old tail feathers off and reglued them to the new fuse.I did have to cut one elevator half off so I could slide it through the new fuse.Then just rehinged it wasnt too much work at all.

I was attempting a knife edge circle and lost it when it was coming back to me.Pancaked it on the field just tore the gear off and messed up the motor box.Decided not to attempt to rebuild the motor...
