50% xylene and 50% tolulene. Avialable at all fine home depots and lowes and cheap too. only good for metal parts. do not use this on plastic parts as it will dissolve them.

Try BP2197. It has a bluish green tint to it and its all we use on our engine and accessories here at the airline. I havent mixed any yet but it is supposed to be a direct replacement for 2380.

Imalready using a tapered tap I just wont run it all the way through. If you look at the hole in the stock head for the platnium element it is smaller than the hole in the plug for the element there....
