I have no idea what you are talking about. The Ultra-RC Giles 202 uses Robart Hinges that are epoxied into place and then pinned for additional security.

I drilled 1/32 holes and used T-pins...

Sounds like an out of balance prop or if higher pitch the extra speed brought on the flutter.

That could be it I guess. I was balancing the prop before it flew. Spread thick C/A on the wing...

Help!

Lost my Giles 202 to flutter yesterday. Both ailerons. Occurred at less than half-throttle and yet continued after throttle was cut...literally shook itself to death in mid-air...

You have confused EVO with Evolution...two different manufacturers. Evolution is Japanese ...EVO is Spanish I believe. Some people mistakenly use EVO as an abbreviation for Evolution.

Hey Rocketman,

When you attached your wheel pants with the Sig 5/32 brackets did you epoxy the brackets to the wheel pants or attach them with 2-56 screws??

My wing tube stop popped out ....and I have yet to maiden. I think the tube was actually a little long and when trying to mount the wings the pressure from trying to get the tabs into the fuse...
