No triton charger is 10s capable a123 or lipo battery

a 4s setup is best/ light good power not to expensive

use 4s2500s or 4s3200s

use 60a esc with switching bec

13x10 prop, motor outrunner around 7 or so oz with a kv of 800 or so

use axi 4120/18
70 amp controller
5s1p 3700 to 4350ma packs (short brick style)
14x10 to 15x10e prop

5.5 lbs great performance

the motor I am using on my yak is a Z5025/22 B back mount version with fan, I use 10s1p hyperion 3700ma packs

I have been flying on a 20x10e and the motor runs quite warm

I agree the motor...

Marc, I am using a z5045/18 B motor in a 15lb 12s setup (to big for the Genesis)

also using a z5025/22 B in an 11lb yak on 10s , spins a 20x10e but runs a bit warm (19x10e might be better) 2500...

How about this for a field charging system: its a small 4 stroke 2.5 hp motor linked to a 55amp bosch alt. with reg and amp meter ,, hook it to a small field battery

small , quiet, up to 55 amps...

I am not sure what the problem is but I do know its a bad idea to run an edf on the bench for 2/3 minutes

12x8 apcE 60 amps ~ 1,100 watts

on the ragged edge for that motor with rpms and amps

didnt use it long

a really strong 4s pack with a 15x8e would be better on that plane

will need...

I have 3 sets of batteries and 3 chargers. So how long,?? I arrive at the field all betteries charged/ flying in 10 minutes(plane assembly)

let motor cool 5/10 minutes , setup just flown...
