RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

The first Saito 125's have finally made it over the pond, and mine has just arrived today.

Just need to get an airframe now to hold it while it runs. :)

RE: Problem viewing images

Well, as mysteriously as this problem started, it's now gone away again.

Traceroute shows much the same path and high latency on some of the hops, but images are loading successfully again.

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

Well, after a looooonng wait, I've finally got my hands on a YS 110 FZ. Looks pretty sweet.

I've got all the bits ready to start building now - just need to find a bit of time.

RE: Problem viewing images

I think I may have just answered my own question. I'm using the same laptop I use at home in a hotel at the moment, and everything works fine. Something to do with my wireless router or ISP, I think....

Problem viewing images

Hi

I've had a problem viewing images in all of the forums for about a month now. Everything used to work fine, but now I can't see any inlined images or attachments - the browser just sits there...

RE: The New Improved Adrenalin!!

I'm thinking about a Saito 1.25 too and have already checked into availability. They're expected in the US in December, but Paul at Just Engines says that the UK is usually about 4-6 months behind...

RE: HAM 6 Meter

Thanks for the replies, guys.

I did some more investigation on 6 metre use in the UK - in case anyone else is interested, there is no frequency allocation for RC in the band plan here - see...

RE: HAM 6 Meter

I've just been reading this thread with interest... I've been a UK ham for nearly 20 years, but inactive for the past 10. 50 MHz is available in the UK, and I'm wondering if I could fit a 50 MHz...

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

Still deciding what engine to get for my Harrier. I was pretty set on the YS110, but now Saito have announced the FA125 - same weight as the 100 and more power than the 120. Not available yet, but...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

Comparing specs, that makes the 125 slightly lighter than the YS110FZ, and slightly more powerful too - at least on paper.

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

Thanks for the comments on engines, guys. Sounds like the YS is definitely worth the effort - and you never know until you try these things!

I ordered 5 Hitec 5625 servos for my Harrier, as they...

RE: SEAGULL HARRIER 90...WHO'S GOT ONE?

Well, I've got a new harrier 90 in the box waiting to be built, and I'm having a real dilemma deciding on what engine to use. I like the Saito I have in another plane, but from looking through this...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

I've got an 82, initial break in on the bench and one short flight (ran out of fuel!). What kind of fuel consumption should I expect when I've got some more run time and it's not tuned way rich?

RE: Freestyle Rush

I would have thought the irvine 53 would be fine. The model's designed for 46-53 2 strokes, and the irvine 53 has the same weight / size as a 40.

Inverted Saito 82 / tank height

The plane I've just acquired is designed such that the fuel tank fits with its centre on the thrustline. I'm planning to use a Saito 82, mounted inverted. Unless I change something, I'll end up with...

RE: Freestyle Rush

I've just bought a Rush, plus a Saito 82. Looking at the engine installation, the supplied 8 oz tank looks to be on the small side (14-16 oz recommended at http://saito-engines.info/ ) - but fitting...

RE: Saito 82 - what fuel mix are you using?

I've just got a Saito 82a engine - first Saito I've had, and also my first 4 stroke.

Everywhere I look for advice on fuel I seem to see something different being recommended. The manual suggests...

PCM9XII / Hitec Rx compatibility

I've currently got a significant quantity of Hitec kit (Eclipse Tx and various dual conversion receivers). I'm thinking of upgrading to a better Tx, and I like the look of the PCM9X Mk II - in terms...
