Take an old ski pole, cut it as needed and hammer a socket in the end. done.
Use a pink rubber insert for your elec starter , reverse the rubber insert and stick the ski pole into it.

I built a few F16's for club members, the early kits were awfull, elev servos were up in the nose with nyrods snaking down the fuse, ditto for the ailerons.
I changed that to short coupled mounted...

Guys,
Tom Cook test flew the scratchbuilt F14, from MAN magazine, the kid had built it a bit heavy but the shortcoming was the RK740 fans, they just didn't put out enough thrust with .45 engines.

I don't have a Yellow F14, mine is JHH, its slightly different size, perhaps a bit smaller, I don't know the exact location of their CG except that its very close to the pivot of their...

mybusiness partner was manager of Yellow aircraft , he was well informed on the F14.
