Ice, looks good. I had my maiden voyage last week. Now you and I just have to get some stick time. I like the black paint job, I think my next boat will be black.

Here is a kit or ARF land yacht link RClandyachts Its made by the same people who make the RC Laser so I would guess that its a quality kit. Price isnt too bad either.

Looks like a sweet hull. Maybe a International One Meter or a US One Meter. Probally can be either, but the shape looks alot like the Nimbus, but in carbon. Very nice and do they have any more?

CR914 Maiden Voyage

I worked like a mad man this week and finished my CR 914 late Sat. Here are a few pics of her maiden voyage. Wind was strong and gusty with plenty of ducks and seagulls to chase.

Yeah, I bought the video also Andy. Very helpful. I wish I could paint my boat that good, but I will have to settle for a basic design. I should have some more pics up tonight.

First I don't know anything about this, but... I have an idea. The Marblehead class is 50.7" give or take, you can look it up to be sure. GBMY sells ballast for Marbleheads and it ranges from 6.6...

Has anyone sailed a Windstar or seen one. They look pretty cool and are IOM certified. Im not sure we could get them in the States without a major hassel, all the sites that sell them are in Europe.

Pecos, how do you make the decals water proof? It says you spray the decals with clear coat and cut them out and put them on. Do you put more clear coat over them after they are on the boat?
