RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

I almost lost the Do today. Was doing some knife edge mixing, on the second landing after I made the adjustments I went to taxi away to take off and I had no rudder. When the servo started to work it...

RE: XtremeLink™ - 2.4GHz for Futaba, JR, and Hitec radios

Whats a good way to mount this receiver? Velcro? I always wrapped them in foam for vibration but I see pics of receivers mounted right to the wood.

RE: XtremeLink™ - 2.4GHz for Futaba, JR, and Hitec radios

I have a question, I see in the manual that there is some features that are not yet on the modules. Like being able to run in PCM mode. When these become available are the old modules able to be...

RE: World Models .60 size P-51 Mustang--Petie 2nd version

Hey guys, I have over 30 flights on the mustang now. The stock soft engine mount rubber is starting to fall apart. Is anyone just attaching the engine right to the mount with out the soft mount?

RE: World Models .60 size P-51 Mustang--Petie 2nd version

Well I flew my P-51 sunday. Had to take off the gear doors, they slipped down and locked the wheels and broke my new prop. I changed props and took off, this plane does fly very nice and farely fast...

RE: World Models .60 size P-51 Mustang--Petie 2nd version

The firewall is 4 5/8 wide. I dont think the Keleo exhaust will work on the WM P-51. The exhaust stacks on the cowl are half over the fuselage. The stacks dont seem to be scale, they are huge. You...

I have emailed them, never tried to call. They shipped mine UPS. The box was damaged with a big hole, but the inside was fine.

Hello all. I am thinking about getting one of these P-51's. Where is a good place to get one? Only place I found was from airborne-models.

RE: Showtime

djkzk, I have a DO 46 with a 100 in it. I think that this is a great combo. You might be wanting more power with the 60 DO. Extra power is good when learnig 3d, helps you get out of trouble. I also...

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

I started out with an OS70 on my do. It would hold a hover at a little over 3/4 throttle. I think I was using a APC 13x4w. You might want to try that, also make sure you have enough cooling out the...

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

Wow my Saito 125 barely turns a 17x4w at that rpm. Nice, should be a rocket.

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

How much elevator travel do you have? I am not sure exactly how much I have but its at least 45 deg probably more. My Do flat spins great and starts to climb a little.

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

I have a 1.25 on my ST. I would not got any smaller. It is barely enough engine for this plane. The best prop I have found is the APC 16.5x5w. It will hover around half throttle but the pull outs are...

RE: Showtime

I finally got a pic of my tail wheel. It is a 60 size sullivan with a 7/8 wheel. I also use 2 3/4 main wheels. This gives it a nice angle on the ground and takes off quickly.
