airtronics and gyro's

as of now i am flying Jr, 11x. I flew Airtronics in the past and was happy with them. I made the change when i went to larger 1/3 scale planes, to use the newer style.

No way to take the linkage out the front. choke lever moves up and down. must come from bottom or top. Do you think I could machine or even file a flat on the choke shaft.

Yes there was a spare spring with the engine . it got ruined the 1st time i pulled the cap off to clean the fouled origional plug.
