Is there a good way to convert a top flite D model ARC to a B model? I know there was a company making a fiberglass turtle deck conversion for the p-47. I am wondering if there is one for the p51.

RE: PARTS FOR AN OLD SATIO 120

Hey Bill

RE: YAK 54 TOC1

My canopy was large also. I just screwed it on then marked the overage and then removed it and trimmed it up. I then taped a border of my liking and shot it with some matching krylon. It looks...

RE: Good Service From Cactus

You have got to love companies that take care of their customers. I don't have a lot of money to throw around but I will gladly spend more to buy a 3W, ZDZ, DA, Zenoah and a couple of other name...

RE: 50cc airframe preferences

I have a Wild Hare Edge and it flys great on a mvvs 45. If I were getting another plane in this class I would look at the Airwild Extra 260 it is 2 lbs lighter than the wild hare with the same wing...

RE: MVVS45 VS BRILLELLI46

I would go with the Brillelli. I was the second owner of a mvvs 45 and had a horrible time with service. Noone in the U.S. will service them, I had to send it To canada for service 2 1/2 months...

RE: g26 vs. os 1.60 two stroke

I had both engines in a 1/4 scale Sig Cap 231 EX. The G26 was super reliable and had OK power but not much verticle and took a long take off on grass. I switched to the O.S. 1.60 and took about a 1...

RE: Pro 46 vs other 45's

I've run most of the 45s out there and I think the TT pro is probably the best for the money. It's cheaper than the OS and just as dependable. Slightly less power than the OS or Super Tigre but...

RE: Which engine for a Sig Four Star 60 kit

You are right it's the old Ford or Chevy discussion all over again. Both Engines are very good. I've had both os and saito. I prefer the os because from the ones i've had the os seems easier to...

RE: Plane vs Fence post

I've got a friend (really it's not me) that flew a stick at full tilt into a telephone pole dead center. The spinner and the crank are still in the pole at about 20 ft off the ground.

RE: G-90 Starting problems.

I have had many Super tigres over the years and every one was hard to start the first time out for the day. The only way I get them started is to use a starter on them the first flight of the day. ...
