Hi guy,
Feel your pain. Had one did that. Lots of places on line that will supply you Kyosho parts. Other posts here are giving you some good starting points.
My suggestion, is your training gear....

gyro

A gy240 from helihut would be great, if your just starting. It's a heading hold, and works great.
When I started out with a Nexus, I bought a used CSM360. You need a free channel with adjustable...

tight clutch

Been there, done that. If you start and run these things in idle up, or the throttle set high, you overheat the clutch shoes, causing them to weaken and expand. If you look closely at the shoes....

gy240

Well, I set my linkage out as a first step. At 15-16 mm, I was binding at the end points, so I used the atv's to stop that. The atv's wound up at some crazy numbers like 39% right rudder, and 49%...

gy240

No, I just found it out by doing it. Switched components between my Nexus and Raptor 30"s.
I have read somewhere that the 240 has a much slower frame rate than the 401. Same heading hold technology,...

gy240

Hi guy. Same problem. Had a FMA coreless .10 high speed hooked to a CSM360. Had probably the fastest piro rate of any heli at our field.
Same servo with a gy240 turned into a real dog. Smooth...

Nitro percentages

Thanks guys,
This is getting convoluted as hell. One of our club members, who is a Thunder Tigre team rep, and at the present time, is changing fuel brands, from "cool Power" to another brand, is...

Nitro percentages

Well, no luck last time, so I'll try it again.
At our funfly (helis only) this last Sunday, one of our experienced pilots in our club, gave me the following information.
I fly 15% Byron fuel. He...

phasing

Good post Tisrich. I wish Kyosho would emphasize how to set the phasing properly. We have some of these guys buy them as arfs, and when they wreck them, they totally miss the phasing part when...

swash plate tilt

Hi guy,
If you tilt the swash plate forward, the heli will fly forward, but if you look at what that input is doing to the blade and paddle pitch, it appears that it would tilt left.
The other guy...

crabbing

Hi guy, I fly a Nexus and I know if your phasing is out bad enough, it can cause it to fly sideways.
Your manual on assembly addresses that. With your main blades pointed to the front and back of...

Bought one of those transmitters not too long ago. Payed $25.00
Will handle (1) helo, and (1) airplane. Reciever will cost you about 60 bucks from Great lakes.

Can't stop heli yawing to the right...

Sounds like revo mixing to me but...............
This radio should have 6 model storage.
Why not try setting your model up in heli 2, instead of 1. That will give you all default settings to start...

Can't stop heli yawing to the right...

One more thing. I'm flying a jr662 as well. If your using any servo except a jr, the servo reversing function should be set in normal, and the reversing plug should be removed from the gyro. If your...

One more thing. This is crazy, but it happened to me. I assembled the kit myself, and everything seemed fine. Took it to the field to have a seasoned club member set it up, and do the first flight...

Hi there,
I'm flying the same heli with the same gyro. What radio ? what gains do you have on your gain channel ? What are your atv's set to on your rudder ? Try a bench test. Adding left trim,...

Main Gear Stripping

No, no upgrade on the gear, that I know of. Just easy does it. Do it like the real heli's do it. Looks cool too.
Good luck..

nexus main gear

Hi,
Good advise on the main gear change. Comes out a little tight, but does come out.
2 things. One, Kyosho recommends sloooooow spool ups. Especially when you're on the ground lifting off. 5...
