Do you plan to put on two turn fins, 1 left and one right? It might make it turn both ways good, but what about extra drag, and the affect each fin would have on each other while turning?

I have a Cyclone with a 260 zen. The motor is placed 12 1/2" from transom to c/L of carb, the strut is set even with the bottom of running pads, and the rudder is placed on the right side, 3" off...

I too am a converted nitro boat owner. The first time I ran my gas boats I was hooked. I don't think you can go wrong with a Zen 260, and there are a number of great hulls out there. Have fun.

I live in Brea and have 3 rc boats, a 40" vee with a 7.5 nitro outboard, a 45" cat with a Zen 260, and my 45" hydro with a Zen 260.

The kit is easy to put together,with the only glass work where you cut the hole for the stuffing tube. The hardest drilling work is cutting the 2" hole where the pipe exits. I have also seen one set...

Thanks for the pic of your turn fin. I have cut off 3" of my fin per HJ, right now it is 3.5" long and 2.5" wide but unlike yours it is shaped like a double edge knife with the leading edge...

I am running zen 260 with an Octura 1470 prop. If you want to see a pic of the boat check out "show us your boats " page 4 they are posted under "suckmywakes" name.

I have a 45" Cyclone cat with a 260 zen and got 39.1 mph on a gps, boy it sure looks like it is going a lot faster. I am going to try some other props and play with prop height and see whats up....
