RE: DX6i ... is it sufficient?

Thanks for your input aeajr.

Amongst other things, I...

RE: DX6i ... is it sufficient?

For a canard model can the DX6i be programmed to mix elevon on the wings with with elevator on the canard, to increase pitch control?
Thanks,
Gerry

RE: Phoenix Flight Sim - USB Adapter

Recently bought a Phoenix FS and just picked this thread up out of interest. I had no idea the Tx lead was so important, this should be made clear in the documentation. Will treat it with new...

RE: so why doesnt the Shinden fly?

I can sympathise with Ram-bro because I have built a similar size Shinden, from a reputable plan, and never met a model with less inclination to fly. It has had at least 4 new nose jobs and each time...

RE: Installation procedure for AFPD model downloads

Hi again rajul,
1) the acromaster_jw folder is in the AFPD Aircraft folder. and the files are inside this folder.
2) I have AFPD 1.8.0.17
3) I don't have any addons.

Gerry

RE: What would you like to see added to AFPD?

Wind direction.
rajul,
With respect, the AFPD convention is simply wrong. If you want the wind to blow from the NE (045 deg) you shouldn't have to set it to NW (315 deg).

RE: What would you like to see added to AFPD?

Wind direction.
The wind direction compass rotates in the wrong direction!
ie. setting a wind direction of 045 deg actually creates a wind direction of 315 deg!
This is totally wrong and is...

Glider airbrakes on AFPD?

Could anyone please tell how to control the airbrakes on gliders. They are not listed in the Controls menu. A similar situation arises with folding wings (Corsair) and canopies.
Thanks,
Gerry

RE: Want a good pattern plane for AFP & AFPD

AFPD has some fantastic models, but we always want more! My favourite model at the field is the GWS Formosa. With a brushless motor and a LiPo battery it is a true pattern ship.
Since it is to...

Thanks for confirming my observations guys, I thought it might be just my copy of AFPD.
