I will try the baby powder method. I am also going to use the call Chief method. I did not sand the phenolic tube I did use some fine grit paper on the aluminum joiner tube.

I have a new Aviation(SD) models 30% Extra 260 that I bought from Chief aircraft. The plane is gorgeous. I am 95% complete. My problem is that tube will not fit in the wings or the pheolic joiner....
