RE: 1/10 RC Formula 1 Cars...lets see'em

My estimation is around $50.00 on eBay. I've seen Duratrax Delphi's sold on eBay for around that price in the past.

RE: 1/10 RC Formula 1 Cars...lets see'em

Great pictures, HeliYogi! Nice work on the F1's. Really cool that you were present at the Long Beach Grand Prix. I usually make it to the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, but they've never had...

RE: 1/10 RC Formula 1 Cars...lets see'em

More great news! This time from HPI. Looks like they will also be releasing a 1/10 2wd F1 in the near future. Damn, I really hope this class becomes popular again - a company like HPI certainly...

RE: 550 Motors for Stampede?

Interesting. I hadn't seen that one. I looked it up on Tower and noticed it wasn't pictured with motor leads, but in the description it says all that's required are screws to mount the motor in...

So, just leads are required. What kind would you recommend?

RE: 550 Motors for Stampede?

Cool. Do they come with pre-installed leads and capacitors? If not, is that stuff available on the site?

RE: 550 Motors for Stampede?

Cool. I think I might have to try the HPI GT 550. I've also heard good things about this generic 550 motor, but it requires capacitors, motor leads, and soldering:...

RE: 550 Motors for Stampede?

Yeah, I have a Trinity Speed Gems 17t, but I'm not satisfied with the performance (torque, specifically) compared to the Titan 550.

550 Motors for Stampede?

I would like to replace my Stampede's Titan 550 motor with another 550 motor - one that lasts a bit longer. However, I'm unaware of what some possible replacements might be. Are there any other 550...

Lipo's Compatible with Brushed ESC's?

I'm interested in purchasing some lipo batteries in the near future to be used in 1/10 scale applications. However, I do not have any brushless setups, and have heard that some lipo batteries...

RE: 1/10 RC Formula 1 Cars...lets see'em

Hey, that's really great. It's a fun car, and like all F1's, takes a quite a bit more finesse to handle than your typical 4wd touring car, which is why they're much more enjoyable, imo.

Yeah,...

RE: 1/10 RC Formula 1 Cars...lets see'em

Also, here are some pictures of my very first R/C car, which also happens to be an Indy car - specifically, a Kyosho Target/Scotch Lola T9300. I believe I was in the fourth grade when I got it - my...

RE: 1/10 RC Formula 1 Cars...lets see'em

I inquired about a way to protect the gears on my Delphi Indy Car a few weeks ago. Well, I ordered a TRG diffuser and installed it. The mounting holes were a bit off, as Vyger and I were able to...

RE: Six-cell only running on FIVE?

Alright. After the pack was warm upon charging, the highest reading I saw for an individual cell was 1.439 and the lowest was 1.426.

RE: Six-cell only running on FIVE?

Oh, it was measured after the pack was sitting around for some time. I'll measure the cells directly after they've been charged and see what the readings are. How should I go about measuring the...

RE: Six-cell only running on FIVE?

I did the prolonged trickle charging on the battery pack two times. I'm not certain of the extent it helped. So, I opened the pack and did a voltage reading of the individual cells. The lowest...

RE: 1/10 RC Formula 1 Cars...lets see'em

Cool. I just measured the screw spacing of the t-plate. They're separated by a width of 6.5 cm and a length of 4.9 cm. If that sounds similar to the Tamiya chassis, I'll definitely have to pick up...

Wow. Thanks for the great information. So, the diffusers should be compatible with the Duratrax chassis and mount properly, or would they require some modification? I also use the stock spur,...
