What container and pump for gas?

Hi guys,
I have come to discover that the Dubro EZ fill and Slimline M1 have both been discontinued. How is everyone storing and getting fuel to their planes? Do I just go to the local store...

RE: Honda GX25 flies...on Big Bee

BBriBro,
Nice looking plane! Where did you get the nice lightweight exhaust header? Also, do you think it's possible to cruise at 1/4 oz of fuel per minute with this engine?

Thanks

Typical fuel consumption for small gasser

Hey gang,
I am still trying to decide what gas engine is most suitable for a 10 hr flight endurance target. Fuel consumption data is tough to come by, and that's where I'm hoping you guys can...

RE: Fuel efficient gas engine for UAV

Diablo, we have taken a look at the most recent TAM model that crossed the atlantic using a O.S. 61 4 stroke converted to gas. 47% of the takeoff weight of the plane was fuel, quite remarkable. ...

Fuel efficient gas engine for UAV

Hi everyone,
I am a student at Cornell University and we have a team looking to put together a long endurance (10+ hour) UAV. I am an experienced modeler but to this point I fly all glow...

RE: Best price on a Triton Charger?

Watch out for those crummy charge leads Hobbico is selling. They have poor connections at the banana plugs. Just hook your battery up to a DVM and wiggle where the wire enters, you'll see the...

How do you transport your profiles?

Most of them fit really well in the back of a small sedan. I have had my Topcap in a Dodge Neon no problem. Just put one wingtip behind the front passenger seat on the floor and stand the other...

Sensible Raptor 30 V1 upgrades

Some quality carbon blades (no need to spend $120, my $50 SAB's fly beautiful), $7 KSJ light paddles, the thunder tiger upgrade muffler, and some resonably priced quality servos (ie: 9202) will make...

Sirius Pro series or Pro Series Plus ?

Make sure you understand the switch on the side does not dictate the charge current. As previously stated this is fixed at 550 and 1000 mah for the pro series and pro plus respectively. The switch...

600 mah enough?

I would be using a 1100 mah pack for a plane of that size. But you should get a couple flights out of that battery.

600 maH receiver battery pack advise

Batteries are cheap! Get yourself a 1100mah pack from radical, for about $14. I just got a 1700mah myself and it took 3 days to arrive. No point in waiting around for hitec to look over a 600mah...

Saito vs. YS for DP Ultimate 120?

The YS is no harder to setup and should require adjustments no more frequently than the saito. In face, with the constant pressure fuel supply things should change even less. They are great...

Great Planes Easy Fueler - installation

Easiest thing to do is run 2 fuel dots! One on a 3rd line for fueling/defueling, and the second on a T on the vent/muffler pressure line. Mount them both right next to each other on the fuselage...

GV1 and FF9, Can you set higher than 1700RPM?

You can set it up to 2000 rpm i think. I personally have 1800 set on my 9C/gv1. You are relying too much on the gov menu in your radio, dial up whatever rpm's you want on the Gv1 box itself. Then...

Futaba 9252 Centering Problem

It's most likely your crappy aileron extension wires. ie: Hobbico or another low quality brand. I have had this happen in the past, only solution is to purchase high quality extensions.

one last Uproar 40 question

I flew an uproar for a few years and found flaps to be a waste of time. If it is balanced properly it will land at a walk. Fabulous plane.
