I was just referencing the plan posted from pertrino's thread. The spar is balsa.... I found a copy of an edge540 .46 plan. I could email that one to you to if you want as a reference.

The .46 Extra plan, how does it fly... I was looking at the plan and the spars is balsa with a ply "plate" connecting the center. It seems as though there won't be that much support with the g-load...

WHat size of fuel tank is everyone using for this plane? The plan and manual calls for a 6 oz ss slant. I put one in but the dimensions are not to size with the plan, plus the battery won't fit in...

What I have been doing to my fuel tanks is coating the stopper with silicone to prevent it from breaking free and sealing it. Most of the people I see at the field do the same. It works pretty good...

Covering around edges

How do you cover around edges like wing tips and contoured surfaces without getting wrinkles? I have seen a lot of nice finishes and I'm trying to do the same, but the covering is frustrating. :mad:
