27mhz as opposed to 72mhz(35mhz here in the uk) tends to be a little noisy cordless phones baby monitors etc usually use 27 or 40 mhz so local interance could and probably will be the problem,try it...

well yes a new tail is the answer, but again the profile of the leading edge has to be taken into consideration also , which inevitebly means lots of carving sanding etc, liquid nails is no heavier...

Kevin you can pick up a brand new slo v for 49.95 now which is a heck of a lot cheaper than buying it part for part you would easily pay double that for parts alone................................
