RE: hobby king F-104 Starfighter

Hi
If you build it their way and put their battery in, it comes out good.
I marked it and then made sure if I used different stuff, it came out the same.

RE: Fast P-51

Hi

We used OS 91 vrdf's to get to the 190mph area and BVM 96's to break 200. Things on the aircraft broke as we tried to get much over 204. However, the Mustang was a Stiletto.

RE: Nitro Planes Starfire EDF

Hi

I have a Starfire and was lucky enough to find a Tamjet 101 mm fan with NEU 1515 3d running on 10,11 or 12 cells.
What a difference from my 90mm fan on 6 cells. Takeoff is crisp from grass!...

RE: Where to buy ducted fans

Try Shulman Aviation.... I have a 90 mm in a bigger jet and it is impressive.

RE: Glow Plug

Hi

I did the same thing with a 40 to 50 sized Stilletto Mustang a couple of years ago.
It was fitted with an Eagletree Telemetry system.
I used an OS 91 vrdf (best behaved), a Rossi 1.08...

RE: Heli engine in Plane

I disagree....... bvm 96 ducted fan on 40% nitro in a 60 inch stiletto
mustang better than 204 mph - radar, eagletree pitot and gps verified.

RE: O.S. .77 vrdf airplane

Hi

I had more than my share of fun with a beefed up and streamlined "40" size mustang and an os vrdf 91 and BVM vrdf 96.
The BVM engine broke 200mph in a 10 degree dive.......

RE: Pheonix strega 40

Hi

I had one with an os91 vrdf and full wave pipe. I definitely agree that the stab needs to be solid. I tore mine off in a somewhat agressive turn......

RE: Hottest .91-.120?

Bob

I agree with you. Remember my 204 mph mustang with full wave pipe? BVM 96 reworked by Perf Spec with a custom prop adapter.

RE: NEU Motor trouble

Hi
This is not normal. If you bought it new, either call Castle or NEU and they will probably replace it.
