Update. I had to add a total of 24 oz of lead to get a perfect balence but I used a high quality scale to get a new total weight. She came in at 11lbs 2 oz . Repeated the weight 3 tmes and...

I put in flaps and I hope they do help. I put flaps on a RV- 4and it does help but that plane is light.
