That's weird, maybe it has double protection then. When I use the quick programming card on the xcelorin ESC, it has an option for the LVC.

The LiPO has no cutoff as far as I know. The cutoff is in the ESC, not the battery. It's set at 3.0 V per cell which is the BARE minimum for LiPOs, so I wouldn't mess with it. Does this happen...
