RE: My Allfa model goes left..

I have an Alfa La-7 with MP Jet brushless outrunner. I've flown this plane 4 times and never experienced a serious torque problem. I hold the plane in my right hand and advance the throttle to...

RE: Lack of interest in WWI war birds ?

I disagree that WWI planes are not much fun to fly. I have a 60 in ws Sopwith Pup with an OS70S for power. I can do "barrel" rolls, loops, split S and Immelmanns and enjoy doing them. In many ways...

RE: Top-Flight P-51 ARF Engine

Here are a couple of photos of my TF GS P-51 ARF with a Brison 3.2 and
22 x 8 prop for power. It's not as neat an installation as with a rear
carburetted engine but I don't look that bad either....

RE: RE:Revolution 52: TF 1/5 Scale P-51 ARF Assembly (1ST MISHAP!!!)

I agree with Gary9648,

I'm getting close to finishing my TF GS P-51 ARF and was faced with this same
problem. Then, I read (I think in this forum) about reversing Hitec digital servos.
So,...

RE: Gas engine for TF Giant P-47?

I am getting ready to start building. I purchased a 3W 60 with Pitts muffler.
Comparing the 3W to the plans, it should fit completely inside the cowl. It also
looks like I'll have to put...

RE: Pacific Aeromodel's Gee Bee Y with Moki 210

I now have 12 flights on my GBY with a Brison 2.4. For the first 5 or 6 flights I flew it as it came with separate wing halves. Then, when I took the wings apart, I noticed a small split in the...

RE: OS61FX Excessive Compression

With the plug out the OS61FX turns over freely. This seems to indicate that there is no serious mechanical damage. When I removed the head, I thought I might see signification carbon buildup on the...

RE: OS61FX Excessive Compression

Thanks for the reply, Clair. I've recently bought a new starter motor and have tried it on more than one 12 volt battery trying to start the OS61FX. I can feel the excessive compression when I turn...

RE: OS46FX and fuel tank pressure

If you don't have tank pressure your engine won't run as reliably in the air. I have an OS61FX with a Brisson Pitts muffer that does have a pressure tap. I am using it to fly a Super Chipmunk and I...

OS61FX Excessive Compression

I have an OS61FX engine that has been running well. The problem is that the TDC compression
has built up to the point that I can't turn it over with an electric starter that used to turn it over

RE: Pacific Aeromodel's Gee Bee Y with Moki 210

Well, I flew my Pacific Aeromodel Gee Bee Y (15 lb. 3 oz.) with the Brison 2.4 and 20x8 prop for the first time today. When I advanced the throttle for the take-off run, the tailwheel lifted of the...

RE: Pacific Aeromodel's Gee Bee Y with Moki 210

I've got a Pacific Aeromodels Gee Bee Y with a Brison 2.4 ready to go but not flown yet. The final balanced weight came out at 15 lb. 3 oz. I used a Brisson muffler and it fit in the cowl fairly...

RE: Brison Support Area

I would also like to see a Brison support area, also. I'm just starting out with gas

RE: new midwest AT-6 what engine

I recently completed a Midwest AT-6. I built it with split flaps, Robart retracts, MonoKote
covering, and powered it with a RCS 140 (22 cc) gas engine. I had to put 1.65 lb of lead
in the...

carburetor, I think there never was a problem with the carburetor and the leak was
always from the backplate. ...

RE: Heavy AT-6: Will it Fly?

Thanks for the input, guys.

After careful consideration, I've ordered a Brison 2.4 (39 cc) to replace the RCS 140. I think the
RCS 140 would provide marginal power and the Brison doesn't...
