I guess while bdget is an issue, its imortant to consider long term expense. in my experience with heli's the most expensive is NOT always the best. so i feel a desicion based on value for money is...

Also can you race a truggy at a buggy race? and why would you have a truggy? is it just csmentic?

I am switching from heli to buggy, new to the whole scene. I want to start in 1/8th buggies and not with a huge budget, would like to do this with my son, there seems so many out there...

Im of the same opinion, i love to see them, but it is what i think the rest of the world thinks we do, just to confirm i dont shoot them, except with the camera! :)

Sorry to be a pain but it is poss to get a couple of more angled shots, is this replacing your battery tray, hard to tell from the pic
