RE: SV27 wont stay in the water!

I did not say Weight is not your friend,

I said adding weight is a bad idea.

A better idea is to move the weight to a new spot preferable to "centralize the mass".

RE: wire and connections adding to heat creation

larger connectors can reduce resistance in the circuit.
larger guage wires allso reduce resistance.
If you are melting solder your wiring needs upgraded.

RE: Help me pick out my first boat

Motley Crew is the best "low cost" boat and is simple. less likely to go above 50 mph.

the Mean Machine or the Genesis has much more capability , but is the "high cost" boat and can end up more...

RE: SPARTAN killer ????? Do share

But I am running 9s3p in my Offshore Cat.
You didn't include my setup in your list.........
(3) 6s packs + (3) 3s packs = 9s3p

RE: SPARTAN killer ????? Do share

I want to make something very clear,

RE: V-hull with 2 motors

Jay has a point.
a single motor has less parasitic drag than a dual motor setup, this means it is faster (when correctly setup).

RE: Motley Crew Info ?

I do not own a Motly Crew.

I have seen videos of a Motly Crew with a battery larger than 5,000 mah, possibly a 5,300 mah or so. So I know it will fit in the hull and run just fine.

My point...

RE: 47inch deep v?
