The 2 problems I see with that is it will change viscosity with the temperature and the water will more than likely rust the shock shaft.

Well I called back and talked to 2 different people that told me the same thing. The diff is "sealed" as in "it has seals in it" but the amount of maintenance depends on the viscosity of the grease...

I just got off the phone with HPI and they told me the reason my diff was leaking out the silicone grease was because it is not meant to be a sealed diff. Your just supposed to put some heavy bearing...

Unless you loosen the slipper. You can use it as a traction control almost. But its still best to just learn some throttle control. LOL

If you have replaced the receiver than you need to set the ESC back up or you will have no brakes at all. I found this out the hard way and there is no instructions on setting it up either.

I realy like mine to and have been far from easy with it. Only a stripped servo horn so far. Its a great truck.
