Wheels spinning in idle was caused by one of the clutch shoe's spring broken. I have replaced that and it seems to have corrected the problem. I'll know for sure this evening.

Thanks. Yes I've just realised it's a common term across Nitro engines, not just HoBao. Turbo are the glow plugs with tapered heads and thus do not require washers.

Yes that's what I'm stuck with. Well if you look at my balance plug, I guess both reds are shorted and so are both black. Therefore, there are only 4 leads. reds, the two middle ones and the blacks....
