For the next month whenever your in a store that sells batteries pick up a pack of "D" cells and feel how much they weigh some will weigh a lot and some will be suspiciously light by comparison don't...

Those cesa's are big but very light for there size, thing is they have a lot of rocker at the back which makes them unstable at speed, if you want that boat to rip, cut about 7 inches out of the back...

J.M. your maths is a bit out there, I don't know that charger but if it does indeed charge at 1Amp it will take around 3.6 hours to charge a 3600mah pack, not 36 minutes.

The one Takedown linked is the right battery, the battery in the pics is a 12cell NiCad, 8cells on the bottom in two sticks of 4 and 4 cells on top in two sticks of 2, the 4350s are a shade smaller...

Do you use oil? Oil attracts grit that will eat up gears in no time, I dry lubricate my gears with the graphite from a 6B pencil.
