RE: Does anyone else love Enya engines?

Hey Tim,

Again, thanks for all your help sending me the manual for the 120. Believe it or not Enya Japan e-mailed me the other day after I inquired (way before you helped). They e-mailed me...

RE: Does anyone else love Enya engines?

Tim, Thanks a lot!! I think the TN is an older model judging really on the red and black box. Now I just need to figure out the whole PM thing.
Thanks for the offer,
Mike

RE: Does anyone else love Enya engines?

Will do, and thanks!
I'll look at anything at this point. I don't know what plug mine came with, but the motor quits when power pulled. Do you have a favorite plug you use? You are the only...

RE: Does anyone else love Enya engines?

Mike,
Thanks, I don't have a manual, and didn't know about prop size. It came in the plane (although new) with a 16/6 airmaster classic prop. It is huge and heavy. I wondered if it was too big....

RE: Does anyone else love Enya engines?

Thanks Ed,

I'll stick with it. The only other 4 stroke I have tried is Magnum, and it runs great!!! Everyone wants quality, but sometimes the least expensive can get the job done.

RE: How to tune valves on a 4str.

Thanks guys,

Carrellh, Thanks especially for the lean run comment, you must be right. Another flyer told me the same thing. Running it too lean just kills it and the prop throws.

I am not...

RE: Glow Plug worries

I'll try to see if it will fit. You don't happen to know if it's the same dimension as the regular Fox plug do you? It wouldn't allow igniter connection.
Thanks

RE: How to tune valves on a 4str.

Thanks guys for continuing to help.

I opened everything back up. When the two valves are just starting to move and cylinder is at top, I rotated prop 1 turn. Upon doing this, there was not...

RE: How to tune valves on a 4str.

OK, I think I screwed up. I tried to follow Bill (William Robison's) instructions. I turned the prop until both valves were opening closing (they looked like they were each just starting to move)...

RE: Does anyone else love Enya engines?

Hello Enya lovers,

Hopefully you can tell me about the 120 TN 4C I just picked up in a plane. Is this engine an "old" four stroke? I have had a great running 40 2 C for twenty years - great...

Wow thanks for the quick response guys.

You are not going to believe this, but I just lost the Fox plug I took out b/c it would not work. I hooked up the glow starter and it would not register...

RE: How to tune valves on a 4str.

Hey Hobbsy,

I just bought a plane that had an almost new looking Enya 1.20 TN engine in it. I ran about 5 tanks of 10% fuel through it, but wasn't happy with how it was performing (didn't seem...

RE: Futaba servos with Spektrum DX7

Thanks Edwin,

You are right I am sure. I will be cutting off the male part (ouch). If you have done it over the years without problems, that's good enough for me.
Thanks,
Mike
