Not even the fastest Macs can run G2 using VirtualPC. The problem is the emulation of the hardware. VPC uses software to make Windows think it is installed on PC hardware. Unfortunately, the software...

A good computer to run the simulators?

Last time I checked, DDR RAM was much less expensive than RD RAM. Rambus or RD RAM must be installed in pairs, as well. It's more geared toward server hardware. You won't notice a difference between...

Simulator on Mac

Great to see some other Mac users, but where gaming and simulators are concerned, we're SOL. I have been experimenting with various sims on Virtual PC since version 4 and none will work satisfactory....

Fly In's

Normally, I gladly pay for fly-ins, to support the host club. Plus, they usually raffle off some great prizes. No one gets rich on these things, and sometimes the club takes it in the shorts.

I...

Fly In's

In our club, the purpose of a Fly-in or Fun-fly is to raise money to keep the club operational. The dues alone do not cover the costs of the charter, mowing, seed, repairs, toilet, and any other...
