RE: Upgrading Radioshack truck

The ESC should work fine with the stock brushed motor. But I hope you know you'll need a real receiver for it to work, and that means you'll need a real servo, and transmitter. So you might as well...

RE: Upgrading Radioshack truck

Those are some of the flimsiest gears I've seen in a R/C truck. I think your gonna blow teeth off the gears with just a mild brushed 270-280 motor. The gear box plastic looks like it will twist and...

RE: Rat Shack 4x4

I just used a side cutters to pry the stock brass pinion off. I'm pretty sure the original motor is wrecked because I was'nt carfull. Then I just pressed the original pinion on the pro-pulse motor....

RE: Trying to restore Tamiya M03 Mini Cooper-Hong Kong parts?

The rubber looks all most new to me. My original tamiya tires are worn bald, and have been in many crashes, but the rim is still in one peice. That plastic looks brittle.

RE: Trying to restore Tamiya M03 Mini Cooper-Hong Kong parts?

Thanks, but since I have to buy 2 sets, and don't plan on doing any competitive racing, I'd like to just find OEM type dog bones.
I'm just going for a stock OEM original box art type build. It...

RE: I want a lunchbox

I have'nt found a need to put in a stronger motor then the 540 that it comes with. It would just be a constant wheel stand with a hot motor. I've had hours and hours of fun with just the 540.
The...

RE: higher battery capacity for 9.6V new bright

I have a feeling the battery was'nt properly charged.

RE: Trying to restore Tamiya M03 Mini Cooper-Hong Kong parts?

RE: Why such a big gap between toy grade and hobby grade.

15-20 years ago there did'nt seem to be such gap. You could go to toy's-r-us or Radio Shack and buy a $70 Nikko Buggy that was digital proportional with a 540 motor and 7.2 battery pack, that could...

RE: Trying to restore Tamiya M03 Mini Cooper-Hong Kong parts?

It's just that "rcstation from Hong Kong" Has every thing I need in one place, axle shafts and wheels with tires. I cant find any body selling genuine...

RE: Nikko Hi-Roller Camaro 90's

Can you hear the servo motor run when you turn?
If you can, then it could be the servo saver. They have a habbit it getting loose and sloppy over time, same with the front wheel bushings.

If...

My review: Hot Wheels Pro Power "Dune Devil Pro."

Very simular to the Hot Wheels Fury FTX. A few things I notice different is: Body, Wheels/Tires, gear box, servo, Front upper A-Arm and bumper.
The Truck takes a 9.6, has a top speed of about...
