The Dirt Hawg 40s. Are great on asphalt and grass. I haven't tried them on dirt yet. They do balloon some at high speed though. I give the Dirt Hawgs  for now. :)

I got the Bronco body...

Savage Braking Problems...

Here (http://www.savage-central.com/ftopic1505.html) is a link to a discussion that describes the mod I did to my brakes. The dual brake disks rock! Try it. You won't regret it. :)

savage fuel tank

It is a well known fact in the Savage circles that the stock Savage tank sucks. Before I did some modifications I had to warm up the engine and tune it with a half full tank to get some kind of...

Savage Engine Upsize

The rotostart will not work with the C5. The pullstart parts come from a Hyper 8 port. Until an adapter for the 8 port is available the rotostart will not work.

more top end for savage

OK. Let's look at this from a different view. Picture a 10 speed bike. The clutch bell would be the gears at the pedals and the spurgear would be the gears at the rear wheel. If you want to go faster...

Savage Engine Upsize

The C5 drops right in. But it has to be modified for a pull start. It does not come with one from the factory.

No offense, but have you ever raced a 8 port powered Savage? Have you even seen one run?

You see my friend and I have been having this little engine war these last couple of months. It...

Savage clutchbells?

I have been using these (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCSC8&P=7) with success. The Trinity bells range from 13t to 18t.

CaseyDDR,
It we are both wrong about the Sega Dreamcast. The US market was Segas' last hope. After it bombed miserably on the Japanese market. Unfortunately it was too late and too little to save...

Where did the Assoc MGT Go?

Since Sega was mentioned, here is what really happened to Sega. Sega released the Dreamcast about a month before Sony came out with the PS1. What put Sega out of the game console business was not...

Where did the Assoc MGT Go?

I sure would like to know what is taking Associated so darned long. They already missed a couple of release dates. I doubt re-engineering is an issue this late in the game. Gearing up production is...

2.5 Engine= JUNK!!!

Just to set things straight. Trinity does not make Sirio engines. They import them. Sirio engines are made by Rossi in Italy. When my friend contacted Sirio about the pipe for the Sirio .18 and the...

Diff????

The diff itself is sealed. But the diff enclosure is not. You have to run a bead of silicone around the bottom where the skidplate is to seal it.

Diff????

The Savage diffs come already sealed with a rubber gasket. I added some silicone sealant just for good measure.

Believe it or not. The stock tires are pretty good on both asphalt and grass. All you need to do is replace the foam inserts with something a little more firm. :D

Just to clear something up. The Savage engine is a Force engine. But it does not come from Ofna. Both HPI and Ofna distribute engines manufactured by Force.

Anyway, if properly broken in and...
