Yeah it would i did the mini-v witch is the baby to the shockwave with a grumpier 19mm electric of course . Did ok it loved to do 180s will I added some Chine to the bottom to help it out look...

yeah u could run a clutch but u will need a marine flywheel if not . learned the hard way there . also I did a nitro-v witch is the same hull as the villain . I should have a thread on here or even...

I do know the mini jet will take around 50k @ 300w that's max with a little over kill 500 rpm being wasted . so 20k wont bet any speed record if that motor has the torque to get the rpm that hi

That comes with the nqd witch is 2.3 mm. Btw 1/8" is 3.17mm

First witch drive do u have the copyed one with a 2.3mm shaft or a grumpier drive that has a 3mm shaft witch is what that bearing was for with out haveing to make a new shaft or ordering a grumpier...

i have a 31" deep v hull running a grumpner 29mm drive i ran that drive at 50k after doing a flex shaft mod . but the kmd drive has two bearings on eather end so you could run that drive at that same...

yeah that large brass flywheel will keep it going when in the water . i bump the trottle trim on all my nitros it helps with starting

thats the tricky part . he wont know if the motor has anof power to turn the pump and get up to the rpm to make the power to stay going . has far as the stalling part . its going to need to be drict...

i did the testing about 3yr ago the max rpm for this drive is 30-35k . btw before this fourm was started most of the ground braking on this boat was down in the all things jet drive thread.

if u have the alum cupler im not sure on the set screw but u could go to the next size . has far as the impeller rubbing i would check and see if the cupler side bushing is wore out couseing slop in...

what size engine is that? u need to watch your weght with this hull if you add to much it will be like driveing a brick . and i used just reguar two part epoxy when i did some fiberglass jobs on this...

yep check out the thread on here thats for the nqd jet sprints and youll see some close up on that boat . it has a 29mm drive in it just look up big22bird
