OK I fixed it the gears wear bound up. And that fixed the idle problem also. I just finished running my second tank through and the power is starting to show up. It is still sluggish in the low end...

How to keep my truck cool?

I have a mamba 6800kv with a 17T pinion and 54T spur with the 3S 20c lipo it hit 242 degrees Fahrenheit. Should I go back to my old gear set up will that keep it cool? I already have the timing set...

Already done all that I think it is an issue with the ESC not handling the voltage correctly. It runs fine on 7.2V but when I put in the 10.8V battery it freaks out.

I have the castle link and I have the Mamba 25 ESC. I have the ESC set to the highest setting on timing and only 10% drag brake and the lowest start power setting. Does anybody have any ideas?

Well I was hoping to match up a 18T pinion with a 53 to 51T spur for the maximum speed possible. But I am new but it sounds good in theory.
