The stock servo in the SS is 347 oz in of torque and has metal gears, not sure if the RTR has the same power but with plastic gears.

Do you mean the beadlock ring sticking way out farther than the tire? If so, the HPI heavy duty beadlock does stick out quite a bit to protect the sidewall.

The hobby shops around here want $959.00 Canadian for a RTR and about $900.00 for the SS. Whey they are cheaper here than to US is anybodys guess.

Here's my current setup:

DDM filter with the stock Baja oiled foam filter and cage inside.
Works great, no dirt gets by and is a heck of a lot easier to service when compared to the stock...

I also dislike the sound of the HPI pipe and installed the stock can on my SS.

I also like the more linear power curve of the stock can over the HPI, it really helps a newbie like me learn how...

Ok, I think you're half right and half mistaken.

You do need the use digital servos in the HRS mode but you can still use digital in the PPM mode.
You cannot use analog servos in HRS mode.

Sidewinder fuel require ARO?

I just installed a new OS .18TM in my REVO and picked up a new jug of Morgan Sidewinder 20% fuel. On the bottle, it specifically states NOT to use any ARO.

Any have any success not using ARO or...

I just picked up an OS 18TM at PM Hobbies in Calgary for $179.99 CDN plus GST.

Last week in Vegas at 2 different stores they were about $229.00 US.

I'm still a bit curious why I can't use the HRS mode with the stock non-digital servos. When I was setting up the radio the stock servos seemd to work fine on...

Hi I'm new to nitro trucks but last weekend I was breaking my 3.3 in and I think it was doing the same thing, crank a bit, then only the glow light would come on and no crank.
Mine got stuck at TDC...
