Soloooooooo!!!

First flight with Avistar! Good and bad

The LA series engines are also known to leak around the back plate, just pull it off and put some kind of sealant around it (very little will do) but dont over tighten the screws while putting it...

May I suggest Weston tuned pipe. They seem to be one of the good ones. I even use the 15% pipe.

Not to tun this into a AMA thread, but NOPE, they only pay what his homeowners and my truck insurance dont.Since he has a $500 deductable he paid me in cash. Nuff said.

Nope, I took it all out side to do a range check and it doesnt seem to change anything.

The quiver is so bad that I thought the linkages could break from all the shakeing. I dont believe there is...

best hinge to use

I personaly like to put a tooth pick through a plastic pinned hinge,seems to hold anything I can put the plane through. I usualy destroy wood before I pull or brake a hinge.
