RE: Someone please help before I lose my mind!

Ive read many posts on here and rcgroups from people that are happy with their 05S's. That plus the nice price tag made it a no brainer for me. I guess I just got a lemon, which are made by all...

RE: Someone please help before I lose my mind!

I really havent had good luck with receivers lately. I first tried the Hitec 05S that seemed to get good reviews and it glitched like crazy. One minute you have complete control then all the...

RE: Someone please help before I lose my mind!

Im using a Great Planes Electrify 3s 2100 mah Li-po battery with the BEC, so no other battery is connected to the receiver direct. Ive tried it with just the ESC and ailerons plugged in and it...

RE: Someone please help before I lose my mind!

Yes, the EPA is where its supposed to be. Like I said, the two servos work fine when I just plug one at a time into channel 1. I have a feeling there is some voltage problem with either the ESC...

RE: Someone please help before I lose my mind!

The new Berg receiver is notched for Futaba J connectors so I cant plug it in the wrong way.

Its not glitching. You know if you have a receiver powered up and then plug a servo in, the...

Someone please help before I lose my mind!

I just finished my first electric plane and am having some problems that I cant for the life of me figure out. I am ready to pull my hair out. I have been doing R/C stuff for 25 years and never...

RE: extra stiffy problem

You talking about Copperhead Aviation I assume? I ordered a Katana Mini mid-night last night and had a tracking number by 12 noon today. Quick service if you ask me.

Any reason you dont...

RE: New producation run of the Ultra Sport 60?

I just came upon this thread after doing a search for my favorite plane of all time. I have fond memories of the Ultra Sport 60 and hope it makes a comeback. I had the pleasure of building two...

RE: Any Long Islander's

I found this post by searching around. A few years ago, I used to race my onroad cars at John Burns Park in Massapequa. It is about 1/4 mile east of Massapequa High School on Merrick Road. All...

RE: Hawk Pro-what else do I need?

Thanks for the help everyone! Ive placed two LARGE orders of about 40 different items from the heli itself to G3 to spare booms and main/tail blades. Also ordered the CN0427 starter shaft along...

RE: Hawk Pro-what else do I need?

Thanks for the pointers.

rf_reggie-I will probably hold off on the aluminum fan for now unless you say that its really neccesary at this point. Are the stock plastic ones prone to breaking? ...

You cant go wrong with either one. The ZDZ 50 will pull both through any manuever you want without a hiccup. I havent flown the WM but have heard nothing but good things about it. Both are...

Just a little headsup. While people have used a pull-pull rudder on the PW with great success, if you are using the BME 50 then you may want to leave the two rudder servos in the rear....

GP Patty Wagstaff Extra 300--What gas engine did you use and telll me how it flies??

BME 50 in mine. I only have a few flights so far but she flies like a dream. With the elevator throw cranked up, it will do waterfalls until she runs out of gas. All around a great flyer. ...

Im surprised the instructions do not say to glue them in. Three planes I've assembled/built had this setup, Sig Somethin' Extra ARF, GP Ultra Sport 60 kit and GP ElectroStreak ARF.

My Ultra...

Same here. I'm using (2) 9151 on ailerons, (2) 9151's on elevator and (2) 5945's on rudder on 6 volt. All digital and wouldnt have it any other way.

While I'm sure this is overkill, this is my...
